Race Update:

Thanks to everyone that has already registered for the 13th annual Unity Race in Lake Elsinore this Saturday. Our numbers are up by about 100 from last year at this time. If you haven’t registered yet, you can do it on Friday night at the Lake Elsinore Community Center 320 W. Graham between 6:00 and 8:00 or at the race on Saturday morning. Students price is still an amazing $10 (k-12) and adults are only $30 ($5 over preregistration). I’m telling you, you just can’t find that kind of deal anywhere else! Remember, we will have The Easter Bunny, Thunder, and lots of other great treats there! See you this Saturday, April 19 at the Storm Stadium. Race starts promptly at 7:45, registration opens at 6:30. You are going to love it!!

Did you know that the Unity in the Community Race is the ORIGINAL Lake Elsinore Levee Race? You can now do color runs, mud runs and so much more but this is where it all began!

This is our 13th Annual Unity in the Community 5k/10k/Kids Run! Our race will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Storm Stadium parking lot in Lake Elsinore, California. Our race began in 2002 with just under 200 runners. Last year we hosted almost 800 runners and walkers and we look forward to over 1000 this year! We hope you will join us and be a part of this great community event.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • A fast 5k/10k course starting on dirt and ending in the paved parking lot
  • A colorful t-shirt and a goodie bag full of coupons and other surprises
  • Great raffle prizes
  • Water stations and great after-run treats
  • The run-to-read program that will give cash back to the schools in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District with the most student participants
  • A $250 prize School Challenge for the school with the most adult participation
  • A cash prize to the overall winners of both the 5k and 10k
  • Medals for age division winners (1st-3rd)
  • The Easter Bunny will be there for free photos with the kids

Our mission statement is “Promoting a healthy lifestyle through fitness and community involvement” and we want you to be there with us to help it happen!

See you at the race!
